Best thing for baby gas pains
Baby is crying from Gas PAins!
I'm gonna be up for a while. London is having gas pains. I just gave her MYLICON, its the only thing that seems to work. Unfortunately it takes about 15 Minutes to kick in and seems to maker her drowsy. The pediatrician recommended it so I guess its safe. She has always had a real gassy tummy. The doctors said it can be caused by her tyed-tongue, food allergies, or just the foods I eat (I breastfeed). Her gassy tummy has gotten less frequent with age but is still the occassional upset once a week. Usually it starts when she is sleeping or about to sleep. She's quiet and peaceful then starts screaming loudly and crying. It lasts 2 min and then she goes back to sleep only to do it again. If you couldn't hear the little gas bubbles and she wasn't passing gas, I would think something was seriously wrong.
Anyways here is all the information you need to know about MYLICON® It's an anti-gas medicine that relieves the discomfort of infant gas frequently caused by air swallowing or by certain formulas or foods. It is supposed to be safe enough to use after every meal and up to twelve times a day. Atleast that is what the label says. It comes with an eyedropper and can be used on newborns too. Its a thick gooy liquid with no flavor, dyes, or smell. You can also add it to their formula or water.
